Hey guys! I wanted to take some time to tell you a little about myself and this blog. My name is Pancake Paula. Pancake is a synonym for ‘flat’ and Paula comes from the Latin word for ‘small’. You can learn what your name means at www.name-meanings.com.
You may have heard of my cousin Flat Stanley. He’s been around a lot longer than me, but we do basically the same thing. We are both flat (like a pancake) and travel around to different places so that kids can discover fun things that they may not be able to go to themselves. My blog is going to focus on finding fun and education on a budget. I want to show you that there are a lot of options for families to see and do regardless of how much you can spend. This blogs deals heavily with family and community, allowing it to fit nicely into the ALEX Social Studies course of study for Kindergarten. It is my goal, however to make it fun and educational for all ages.
